This year I wrote over 180 LinkedIn posts—more than 30,000 words. Writing has become one of my favorite parts of the week, partly because it forces me to think deeply (and sometimes not that deeply) about strategy, branding, and what it really looks like to build a career and a life at the same time.

The funny thing about LinkedIn is you never know what’s going to resonate. My #1 post of 2025? A moment about my kids. No big life lesson, no strategic framework — just two cute humans doing something cute.

Luckily, I’m proud to say my #2 and #3 top-performing posts reflected real milestones in my career. They each pointed to the work I’m most proud of: helping Freshpet and Farmer Focus grow from early-stage disruptors into category-changing brands.

Both stories remind me why I believe so strongly in building from the inside out. Breakout brands aren’t manufactured. They’re revealed. They emerge when founders trust what they already know, focus on what they uniquely do best, and stay committed long enough for the market to catch up. When you get that right, the strategy stops feeling theoretical — it becomes the operating system for every decision, every hire, every retailer conversation, every inch of growth.

That’s the thread that tied these top posts together, too. They weren’t about tactics or trends. They were about the power of clarity, conviction, and choosing to scale the parts of your brand that actually matter. And if there’s one thing I hope people take away from them, it’s this: your breakthrough is usually hiding in plain sight. The work is learning to see it — and then refusing to let go of it.
